Getting this for less than $10,000 is incredible. It’s the best piece of technology ever made. DO NOT buy the cheap one. 256GB is crap. There are apps that’ll take up more space than that. Buy the 1TB. It’s worth it. I got this for only $4,400 out the door with California sales tax. Well worth every cent.

If it stays that way, the iPhone 15 pro and the new iPad Pro will be my last Apple products. It's a shame really, but other services are simply better and available here in Europe.

I would also love to see 3d object persistence after you turn the device on and off. That would be amazing. Again allowing someone else with a vision pro to tap into your 3d layout

It's so hard to explain. I love my Vision Pro and I struggle to find enough things to do with it regularly. It still shows a lot of promise. #1 reason I use it now is to play Demeo and #2 is to watch movies (especially 3D).

Totally agree about Warby Parker Apple Glasses idea. Been saying that for awhile. Especially now that they are moving into AI. They should also build a full TV.

I’m still rocking the 12 ProMax with good battery life. I’ll wait to see what hardware the 16 has as I really want the better camera. Not sold on AI enough yet to be a big driver for me. Plus AI and security with my personal data, I let everyone else play with that first!

For me personally I would love to see Apple create a cheaper model with macOS connectivity I do not mind the iPhone tethering but it needs better visual effects that gives you the matter of appearance you are in the future.

I think it’s a great product but boy is it expensive! I do worry that it would make me bad after using for any length of time.

Apple, test w/pros @ SFO with air traffic controllers in ATC centers. Seems like a natural fit sending radar data into an AVP 3D virtual environment

Apple allows you to show anything in the developer beta since the developer beta is FREE and available for ALL users. Most of us already downloaded it.

As soon as I heard the news about not working on the next gen I went out and spent the $4,400 right away to buy one. Worth it by far! This thing is amazing. I just needed to know it wouldn’t be replaced for years to come. Now that I know that’s the case I’m happy with it. A cheaper model next year for poor people is fine but it’ll be stripped down on tech and features.

Trying to use the product as a medical device but there are major regulatory hurdles and it would help if Apple was more compliant.

I predict Vision Pro usage will be exponentially more greater. It has already shown to be a great piece of hardware. Just needs the software integration for different uses and more people will get on that. Has a bright future.

I bought a PS5 slim 2 Quest 3s and a Quest 2 everything is suited up with accessories for everything and I bought a bunch of lights and a gaming projector And I’m wayyy happier than if I had bought one fucking Vision Pro!

I bought the AVP on day one with the intention of seeing what the hype was then returning it. But I was blown away by the quality and spacial video experiences. I now use it almost daily to consume media. Flying with it is priceless. Comfort is great for me as-is - no extra straps. Sharing was a fail in my one attempt. When the ultrawide display is enabled, it'll be perfect.

I was very skeptical about this TV. But I bought it and installed it in my (very bright) living room. I have to say, I am blown away. It is impressively great! I was ready to return it if I was not satisfied, but I now think I will keep it.

The last thing that is missing is to be able to share persistence of AR objects. Meaning if I set screen layout in a certain way and other separate VP headset can access the same alignment and positioning of virtual objects. The second thing is to allow access to the lidar as part of their Enterprise API access feature.

It almost bent when he tipped it lol jk. Seriously tho it will bend easy.

I use my AVP just like my MBP16, 1-3 times a week For specific purposes. My Daily drivers are my iPhone 15 pro Max and my iPad Pro 13 M4.

First, let me start by saying I am an Apple fan girl! I have been since I got my first Mac 128. Second let me say the only thing stopping me from getting an apple Vision Pro is the $3500 price tag. I keep waiting for my sugar or whatever to Drop off to me but… And we always doubt Apple. When they moved the floppy drive when they created the iPod when they made the iPhone with no keyboard and then took away the home key and then took away the CD drive. They are playing the long game and while we can’t see it right now, the AVP is going to be an amazing device. I do want to add that I am an avid VR player and the AVP is nothing like the quest three I am currently Itten with immersive videos and working out and moving through space on my quest three but Spatial videos are amazing.

You're pretty much spot on. There are things on the VP that I wouldn't miss (if I had one). I don't need virtual eyes. Weight is a big issue and maybe they could offload some of that into a battery/cpu combo and make the VP more of an I/o device. And did I miss the audio solution? Ambient audio is not going to cut it. We'd need some sort of sound isolation to make it convincing. With optional feed through of course. All devices like this will be driven by content so that has to happen. Now, about Meta. I think they have a product that is overpriced and again the content is not there. They need to get AI in there yesterday. Don't leave us hanging. It's possible that the price point is still to high for middle class but hopefully that will come down but you have the glasses floor and those sunglasses are expensive anyway. Get the glasses component priceworthy and they'd kill the market. I don't think Apple will do that because at some point or another VR is still their bailiwick.

I just find it amazing, that how a creator, can ignore one of the possibly biggest downside of vision pro: loneliness
